Each assembly had to move through fabrication, inspection, painting, packing, and dispatch in a strict sequence aligned with the grid-specific on-site erection plan.

Project Challenges
Prefabricated data centre projects operate very differently from conventional construction. Steel is fabricated off-site, but erection happens grid by grid on site. What leaves the factory must match exactly what the site needs next.
As a result, the project presented a unique combination of scale, complexity, and sequencing pressure, outlined below :
1. Large-Scale Fabrication Complexity
With nearly 20,000 components and 3,500 assemblies passing through multiple stages (cutting, drilling, welding, inspection, and painting), traditional tracking methods were no longer viable.
2. Grid-based erection dependencies
Fabrication output had to align with site-based erection at the site. Assemblies had to arrive at the site kitted and organized by grid number, rather than as bulk or loose components.
3. Syncing Fabrication with Erection
A critical requirement was matching factory output (load numbers) with the on-site construction grid sequence. Discrepancies in dispatch risked idle manpower, equipment and project delays.
4. Lack of Real-Time Visibility
Manually tracking over 45,000 milestones led to delayed bottleneck detection and reactive firefighting instead of proactive control.
